Privacy Policy.
Effective Date: July 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Educated Guess Ventures, LLC (“EGV,” “we,” “us”), a Florida limited liability company operating educatedguess.org (the “Site”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. EdTech Growth is a DBA of Educated Guess Ventures, LLC. This Policy applies to the Site and to communications you sign up for through it. It does not apply to information governed by a signed engagement agreement, which controls for client work.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide:
- •Contact and inquiry forms: name, work email, organization, role, what you’d like to discuss, and any message you include.
- •Scheduling: name, email, and details you provide when booking a conversation through our embedded scheduling tool.
- •Briefing subscription: email address (and source of signup).
- •Playbook downloads: email address; optionally role and organization if you choose to provide them after delivery.
Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, general location derived from IP (city/region level), pages viewed, referring source, and interaction data — via cookies and similar technologies described in Section 3, including analytics identifiers.
Information from other sources: publicly available business information (such as your organization’s website or professional profile) may be used to understand an inquiry; email delivery/engagement data (opens, clicks) from our email service provider for messages you’ve subscribed to.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government identifiers, health, or biometric data), and we ask that you not submit them through the Site.
2. How We Use Information
- •Respond to inquiries and scheduled conversations, and prepare for them.
- •Deliver downloads you request and send the briefing and related emails you’ve subscribed to (every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link).
- •Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Site, including aggregate analytics about how pages perform.
- •Understand which content and sources drive engagement (for example, whether a download later leads to a conversation).
- •Comply with law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect rights, safety, and property.
We do not use your personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Legal bases (where required, e.g., EEA/UK visitors): consent (subscriptions, non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (responding to business inquiries, securing and improving the Site), and legal obligation.
3. Cookies and Analytics
We use the following categories:
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | session, consent-preference cookie | Site operation and remembering your cookie choices | Session–twelve months |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*), Microsoft Clarity | Aggregate usage measurement and session diagnostics | Up to twenty-four months |
| Functional | Embedded scheduler cookies | Making the booking tool work on /schedule | Per vendor |
Where a consent banner is presented, non-essential cookies are set only after you accept, and you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of any sharing covered by applicable law. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are treated the same way as GPC where required. You can also control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics via Google’s browser add-on.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with:
- •Service providers acting on our instructions: website hosting and infrastructure, analytics (Google, Microsoft), our CRM and email platform, our scheduling provider, and error-monitoring tools — each bound to use the data only to provide services to us.
- •Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) under confidentiality obligations, where needed.
- •Legal and safety recipients when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- •A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy continues to apply to previously collected data.
5. Retention

| Briefing subscription | Until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record to honor your opt-out |
| Download records | Up to three years after last engagement |

6. Your Rights and Choices
Regardless of where you live, you may request: access to the personal information we hold about you, correction, deletion, a copy in a portable format, and opt-out of marketing emails (unsubscribe link or by contacting us). Residents of certain U.S. states and other jurisdictions may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a refusal and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising rights — we extend this posture to all requesters.
To exercise rights, email Info@educatedguess.org with the subject “Privacy Request,” describing your request. We will verify your identity using the email address associated with our records (or other reasonable means), respond within the time required by applicable law (and in any case within 45 days where feasible), and explain any denial along with how to appeal by replying to our response. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.

9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data — including encryption in transit, access controls and multi-factor authentication on internal systems, audit logging, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use judgment about what you submit.
10. Third-Party Sites
Links to third-party sites and embedded third-party tools are governed by those parties’ own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
